The 5th edition to start the bottle is the standard 10 yo Ardbeg this added a smoky smell and taste to The Sofiero blend.
The Ardbeg Distillery is located on Islay most famous for its smokey whisky the standard Ardbeg 10 yo is not one of the smokiest but it sure have a punch with its 46 % alcohol and 24ppm Fenol, the highest fenol brand of Ardbeg is the Ardbeg Supernova with its 100ppm Fenol and the king in this category is the Bruichladdich Octomore 4 with its 164ppm.
