The 4th edition to start the bottle is the standard 10 yo Aberlour.
The Aberlour Distillery was founded by James Fleming in 1879 in the heart of Speyside. They glory in being between the junction of the rivers Lour and Spey, the former river providing the water for the whisky. The community itself claims to be 1,400 years old.
i visited this distillery in 2012 and can recommend the The Founders tour which included an In-depth tutored nosing and tasting of four Aberlour expressions paired with chocolates. It was a nice experience to try whisky and chocolate
